DB Financial Ltd., doing business as DB Financial (“DB Financial,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you visit our website, schedule a consultation, or work with us for financial coaching.
Information We Collect
Information you provide when scheduling a consultation. When you schedule a discovery call through Calendly, you may provide information such as your name, email address, how you heard about DB Financial, and any information you voluntarily provide to help prepare for the meeting. Calendly operates as a third-party service and processes information according to its own privacy practices.
Information you voluntarily provide during the coaching process. Prospective and current clients may choose to provide financial and personal information to help DB Financial understand their situation and provide coaching services. This may include contact and household information; income information; budgeted or expected expenses by category; savings and emergency-fund amounts; general debt information; retirement, investment, or other asset amounts; insurance-related information; financial goals and priorities; and other information you voluntarily provide in forms, communications, or coaching sessions.
DB Financial does not request online banking credentials or other passwords and does not log into client financial accounts on a client's behalf.
Payment information. Clients may receive invoices and make payments through third-party payment processors such as Square. Payment-card information submitted directly through a payment processor is processed by that provider rather than by DB Financial.
Website Analytics
DB Financial uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website and to measure website interactions, such as page views and outbound link clicks. Google Analytics may collect information about your device, browser, approximate location, website activity, and other technical information, and may use cookies or similar technologies as described in Google's privacy documentation.
We use this information to understand website performance and improve our website and services. Our website does not currently use advertising pixels for behavioral advertising.
Our website is hosted through GitHub Pages. Hosting and other infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to operate, secure, and deliver the website according to their own terms and privacy practices.
How We Use Information
We may use personal information to schedule and prepare for consultations; provide and personalize financial coaching services; create budgets, debt-payoff plans, and other coaching materials; communicate with prospective and current clients; process and administer payments; maintain business and client records; improve our services; protect our business, clients, and systems; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We only seek information reasonably useful for providing our services and operating the business.
How Information Is Stored
DB Financial primarily uses third-party technology providers, including Google services, to store and manage business and client information.
We take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the information we maintain to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
When Information May Be Shared
DB Financial does not sell personal information.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Work with service providers that support our business, such as scheduling, cloud-storage, communication, analytics, hosting, or payment-processing providers;
- Provide coaching services, including coordinating with another coach when appropriate and with the client's knowledge or authorization as appropriate;

- Protect the rights, property, security, or safety of DB Financial, our clients, or others; or

We do not share client financial information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services and Links
Our website and coaching process may use or link to services operated by third parties, including Calendly, GitHub, Google, and Square. Those companies maintain their own privacy policies and security practices. DB Financial does not control their independent privacy practices.
You should review the privacy policies of third-party services when providing information directly to them.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain appropriate business and client records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our legitimate business interests. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.
Your Choices
You are not required to provide financial information that you do not wish to share, although declining to provide certain information may limit our ability to provide particular coaching services.
You may ask DB Financial about personal information we maintain about you or request that information be corrected or deleted. Some information may need to be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, security, recordkeeping, or other legitimate purposes.
Children's Privacy
DB Financial's services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website.
